I would use utilities if that makes the most since to you and adding it back in isn't a problem I think that they removed it by mistake but categories are always a problem as people often see groupings/categories differently. But utilities would work. I have however started using a category called Communication expenses since so many different things exist today. Then sub categories called Internet access, Cell phone, Web Site hosting, etc. I find that better reflects costing items as today's connected businesses use so many different communications methods. Utilities was taken away as a category in Outright's recent update which made me think it was not a valid business category - should I just add it back in as a new category anyway?

Proservices, I really like that idea! The usual categories of utilities or telephone expense don't really fit anymore. After all, I'm posting this from my phone ; )

So sorry for the confusion - we didn't remove the Utilities category, we just de-activated it. We were trying to make your dropdown list more manageable by de-activating the categories that weren't being used.
You can re-activate it by going to Settings/Categories and checking the checkbox next to it. You can also create new/custom categories here as suggested by ProServices of Kansas.
My apologies again.
